New Project - 'Tweaking The Cute Gene' Video
Sydney based, six piece industrial outfit, New Project, was founded
by guitarist Marton
and bassist Nicole in 1998. The duo wrote most of the
initial material for the band,
and in 2000 they were joined by real time
FX controller Thomas and vocalist Drew.
In 2001 New Project extended the
family to welcome guitarist Al and drummer Tim.
The music is a combination of powerful guitars, abrasive vocals, ethereal
keyboards,
samples and pounding electronic beat loops. Energy and rhythm
are the two basic
factors used to create this injection of industrial metal.
New Project's music is now spreading around the world's nightclubs and
radio stations
relaying the band's dedication to the music and the messages
contained within.
September 2001 New Project signed with UK label Spiky Black Cat for
two releases
and in November completed the video clip to Tweaking The Cute
Gene.
This video represents 3 months of intensive creative collaboration between
New Project,
OPVS Films, 3Darts, and Paul Katte of MEG Fx whose special
effects wizardry
contributed to the success of films such as The Matrix,
and The Island of Doctor Moreau.
